EU COMPLIANT DISPOSABLE TABLEWARE

NOTE ON EU-COMPLIANT DISPOSABLE TABLEWARE
From July 2021, it will be illegal to circulate certain items made of plastic in the EU area, in accordance with the EU Directive on single-use plastic items.
The following plastic products will be affected, including bioplastics:
Knives, forks, spoons and chopsticks
Plates
Swizzle sticks
Drinking straws
as well as all food packaging made of EPS (expanded polystyrene) and all items made of oxo-degradable plastics.
Reduction or reduced use should be sought for the following items:
Plastic cups and paper cups with plastic coating.
Plastic food packaging
Bags and film packaging
